At SpywareRemovalPrograms.org, we rank products according to actual consumer feedback from around the web. Below are some of the criteria used in our ranking algorithm:
Consumer Complaints – We always check to see if any complaints have been filed against a product, on consumer complaints sites including (but not limited to) RipoffReport.com, Complaints.com, and ComplaintsBoard.com. Then we alert our website’s visitors to any complaints found.
Consumer Comments – We browse forum after forum to find actual users of the products to see what they have to say. Does the product work? Is it a scam? The customer would know best.
Independent Test Results –Since consumer feedback often only represents one side of the story, we try to collect test results by renowned and objective 3rd-party software testers whenever possible. Some of such sites we view test results from include (but are not limited to) WestCoastLabs.com, AV-Test.org, Virus Bulletin (VirusBtn.com), and ICSALabs.com.
Rogue Lists – We also go through the most popular rogue lists to verify whether or not any software we review is listed as a rogue. Sites like SpywareWarrior.com, MalwareURL.com, and MalwareDomains.com are some of the sites we frequent for this purpose.
Reliability of the Seller – Is the seller reliable? Is it a fly-by-night company or has it been in business for a while? Does it provide a phone number that they can be reached at, or just an email address that is never checked? These are factors we examine.
Does the Product Come with a Guarantee? No matter how useful a product may be to most people, YOU in particular may still not be 100% satisfied with it, so whether or not the product comes with a guarantee is important.
We pride ourselves in being unbiased in the ranking of all products reviewed on this site. In doing so, we hope that we have helped you to avoid falling for scams by helping you to make informed buying decisions.
Thanks for visiting – and take care!
